KIT LIST
You may be required to carry all of your kit and equipment at times and / or you may be required to cache bergans in the field (Hide / OP materials and tools are exempt from this).

Equipment such as spare RIFs and clothing to travel home in etc can be left in your car for emergencies.

We are not going to provide a concise kitlist for the event.
Instead we are providing a list of “Essentials” and thereafter a brief outline of the situations which may be encountered which you should prepare for.

Essential Equipment

• Eye Protection

• Personal Clothing and Boots

• Personal First Aid Equipment If required (Such as inhaler, EpiPen etc)

• Tourniquet / Bandages (For Defiant Medic Rules)

• Mobile Phone and battery bank

• Radio and required ancillaries

• Notebook A5 (Wright in the Rain) and pen/ pencil

• Torch / admin light / headtorch (Low brightness and red filter)

• Ammunition / Magazines

• Water Minimum 3L (Defiant Will Provide Water Replenishment’s)

• Rations (Enough to sustain you through the event)

• Rubbish bag

• Inclement weather kit (Warm and Waterproof layers)

• Minor First Aid Kit (Tablets, Creams, Plasters etc)

• Watch

• Knife / Multitool

  
  Note that items such as sleep system, wash kit, cookware and spare clothing is not listed as essential.
  This is because items such as these can be considered as luxury / comfort items

Recommended Hide / OP Equipment (Team Level Kit)

• Digging tools (shovel spade, pick)

• Cutting tools (folding saw, seceteurs)

• Gloves - gardening type

• Sandbags

• Netting / Screening

• Basha

• Cordage / Paracord / Bungee etc

• Concealment / Camouflage - other
